Table View Pre-Primary

At Table View Pre-Primary we understand that each little one is different and learns in different ways. We ensure that our qualified teachers use a variety of teaching styles to cater for the variety of learning styles amongst all children. Children in pre-school need concrete experiences to get the best quality education and to prepare them for Grade 1. We strive to create a welcoming learning environment for all of our little ones, which ensures that each part of their day is an educational experience.

Ages

Table View Pre-Primary accommodates little ones from 4 months old until 6 years old (Grade R).

Operating hours

We have aftercare facilities for pre-school children as well as children in primary school ( Grade 1 – 7 ) Our pre-school teachers provide homework classes for our primary school learners in the afternoons. Transportation is available for primary school learners accommodating individual sports- and extra curricular programs.

Meal Plan

We provide all our learners with breakfast, lunch and sandwiches. We understand the importance of nutrition, especially for growing minds. All of our meals are prepared in our kitchen with fresh ingredients every day. We plan our meals to provide a great balance of carbohydrates, proteins and vitamins to keep our learners energized throughout the day.

Audrey-Ann Pienaar-Bouwer

School Principal + Academic Head

Dear Parents and Staff

My name is Audrey Pienaar Bouwer and I am so excited to introduce myself as the new principal at Table View Pre-Primary and Curriculum Head for Children’s Education Group starting in January 2022.

I am honored to have been selected to join the TVPP family. Over the past 14 years, I have worked as principal at Melkbosstrand Private School (Noah’s Ark Pre Primary faculty), I consider my most important job to be that of a child advocate. I will spend a lot of time with your children, getting to know their personalities, learning styles and interests.

I will celebrate their successes, small and large. I will encourage them every day and let them know they are valued, that they belong and have a special place in our school community.

Not only am I excited to begin working with your children, but I look forward to the work we will do together. As the old African Proverb states, “It takes a village to raise a child.” I am excited to see your children through your eyes. I cannot wait to share with you the great things they do throughout their days here at Table View Pre-Primary. And of course I will be here to work with you should they need any help navigating any aspect of the school day. My goal is to ensure that all children are healthy, happy and safe, so they may learn as much as they can. This has been my philosophy since I began my career teaching at Elkanah Blouberg over 22 years ago.

My greatest achievement comes not professionally, but personally, as I am the mother of one beautiful child:
Annabel that turned 18 in September of this year. My husband Koenraad and I are extremely proud parents and we are excited to see what God has planned for her, in this new season of her life.

Once again, I am so thankful to have the opportunity to bring all that I have experienced and learned with me to your wonderful school family. I look forward to getting to know you and your family.
